Bill Lee’s official, last worn, Major League, Montreal Expos jersey. In May 1982, the Spaceman, in protest of Rodney Scott’s release by the Montreal Expos, went into a tantrum and tore up his jersey in Manager Jim Fanning’s office. This was documented in Bill Lee’s book, The Wrong Stuff. Fanning has kept the jersey all these years and it is available now to the right collector.
This item comes with a Letter of Authenticity signed by Bill Lee’s former Expos manager, Jim Fanning.
