Retromedia Inc. has been in business since 2005. Its primary focus is doing business as Retromedia Publishing, with a focus on Atlantic Canadian authors.

Its books are primarily non-fiction, with books published on sports (NHL hockey, baseball and harness racing), provincial politics, personal Indigenous history, broadcasting, caregiving, business and rum running.

A recent popular book, Don McDougall Business: Get it done have some fun, by Gary MacDougall was released in 2022 in hardcover and softcover editions. Preceding it was Wally Driven to Win, by award winning author Gary MacDougall about international harness racing driving star Wally Hennessey. It launched in 2021. Another book was released December 1, 2019, called Wayne Gray, A Man of Vision by Gary MacDougall (PE), best-selling author of Forbie, which we published in 2018.
